Always Trust a Fox
On a calm and peaceful day in the forest. Foxes living in their hollow logs and in holes. Nightfall soon came. All Foxes suddenly started racing back into their hollow logs and holes. Soon this area would be a mess! Wolves surrounded the small forest. It was a whole pack of wolves! They surrounded the foxes' holes and logs. However the wolves did not go for the foxes. They were there for their food. The wolves could smell all of their food. So they knew exactly where the food was. They found a small hutt. Where all their food was stored. The foxes could hear everything going on. They did not make a noise. The wolves
eventually left minutes later with all the foxes' food.
The next morning the forest looked like a plane crash. Food was lying on the ground all over the place. And rubbish was too. A few hours later 3 men were exploring the forest. They came close to the area where the foxes live. A lone fox stood in front of the 3 men. A voice spoke from the fox. “Don’t fear us, you are our only hope.” The 3 men didn’t know what to say. They were quite frightened. They were about to run away but before they could. “The voice spoke again saying,'' Wait!” One of the men asked “what do you want?” The voice replied “Help.” The 3 men followed the fox into the forest until they approached some logs lying on the ground and holes in the ground. The voice said “this is our home.” The voice then spoke again saying “Last night all our food got raided by wolves. This happens once a Fortnight. And we don’t have much food to feed on. Please help us.” “We need help to defeat these wolves” “Can you help us?” “Well I guess we could,” the 3 men said. “Good” the voice spoke. Come back in a Fortnight. As the men walked off they wondered whose voice it was speaking. And whether they should go back in a Fortnight or not. The men didn’t think they could trust the foxes so they decided to not come back.
A few weeks later a hiker was walking through the forest. And he found 7 foxes lying dead on the ground with blood all around them.
Hi Riki, great peice of writing, maybe next time you could use more punctuation, but apart from that it was really intreaging and interesting.
